Program Notes
Until 2010 had written only one work for organ. Thanks to the gentle prodding of renowned organist Carson Cooman, I decided to address this omission. Four Sanctuary Songs and Toccata Espressiva are the result of Carson's generous encouragement.

(1) CANTO -A tender, expressive piece dedicated to my wife Pamela.

(2) ADAGIO ON A SUSSEX CAROL-The opening material is an Adagio based on my new harmonic setting of the carol. This is followed by a reverent, simple treatment of the original carol. The last section combines both the Adagio melody with the carol. The piece ends quietly.

(3) PIE JESU-Written in memory of my mother.

(4) HYMN AND DESCANT-My setting of JERUSALEM by C. Parry with an original descant.
