Program Notes
A performance of Primal Groove should sound like six percussionists playing one drumset. Exceptions are in sections where keyboards are active. However, in the more groove-oriented sections, Players 5 and 6 should be dominant while other players interject fills on various non-pitched instruments. Close adherence to the dynamics and other indications, especially Player 6, will result in a stellar performance.
