Program Notes
Zipline! is a quick jaunt into the glissando technique where students learn to slide between notes creating a wash of descending sound. All sections of the orchestra alternate between playing arco (with the bow) and pizzicato (plucking) as well. Just like its namesake, Zipline! is fast and fun.
