Program Notes
Krister Lundkvist was born in Sweden in 1958. He was born into a Salvationist family so learning an instrument was almost inevitable. He studied the piano and trumpet from an early age and later continued his higher education studying piano, trumpet and composition at the Stockholm Conservatory. He became Rector of the Stockholm Conservatory from 2001-2003. He is now a well known composer, arranger and producer in Sweden.
