Streams was is a percussion trio that utilizes a similar set-ups for all of the players. The percussion writing displays a very dynamic, linear style.

Player 1 (large China tom, small China tom, two bongos, 14Ó crash cymbal (susp.), medium China cymbal)

Player 2 (bass drum, large, medium, and small China toms, snare drum (con corda), medium large China cymbal, splash cymbal)

Player 3 (four graduated China toms, large China cymbal, small China cymbal, splash cymbal, large tam-tam)

Note: In absence of China toms, other tom-toms may be substituted.
