Hogg utilises themes from Mozart and blends tem skilfully with his own melodic and contrapuntal inventiveness to provide the symphonic wind repertoire with an outstanding work. This is an opportunity for your young band to demonstrate their lyrical and technical abilitiy in a work suitable for concert or contest. The work was awarded the winner of the 1994 Brolga Music Composition Contest.
