Stage Select is a poppy romp through the menu of a video game! A woodblock cue represents ‘clicking’ between Title Screen, City Stage, Beach Stage, and Boss Stage. The movements take the audience on a whirlwind tour through a variety of pop styles - funk, swing, Bossa Nova, and driving rock. Stage Select can easily include all available performers and serve as an exciting concert closer!

PERFORMANCE NOTES
All mallet parts can be doubled. The auxiliary percussion parts can be removed if needed, with the drumset player covering the woodblock transitions between movements. An optional synthesizer keyboard part and accompanying MainStage file is included, along with a setup guide PDF.
It’s important for the bass guitar part to be covered, but in the absence of a bass guitar player, this can be performed by a percussionist using a MalletKAT or MalletStation, or a synthesizer keyboard. The drumset part is fully notated, but more experienced drummers should feel free to ad lib. within each style.
