Achievement Unlocked is a driving, exuberant, and FUN piece for young percussion ensembles to unlock their potential! This highly flexible piece can be played by ensembles of 8-17 players, and through doubling the piece can easily accommodate over 20. All parts may be doubled as needed to include more players.
Keyboard 1 & 2 may share a 4.3-octave Marimba.

Program Notes
Achievement Unlocked was written to fit the varying needs of early percussion programs. The flexible instrumentation and variable number of players provide options for large or small groups, and through part doubling the piece can easily accommodate well over 20 players. There are some notable rhythms occurring repeatedly throughout the piece, and group learning of the included “Rhythm and Accent Studies” page will help players better understand the parts they are playing and the parts they are hearing within the ensemble. There are plenty of chances for keyboard, battery, and accessory percussionists to shine, and challenging parts are repeated often so that players can thoroughly understand them. Above all else, this piece is meant to be a FUN celebration of achieving a goal together!
