These two short yet delightful pieces were adapted from solo piano pieces by Zaninelli. The song, The River, is an elegant new setting of a lovely English Folk Song. It is quickly followed by Shadow Ridge Rag, a spirited dance with infectious syncopation and some some charming harmonic surprises.
