Remembering Greg was written in memory of the well known Melbourne trumpeter, Greg Maundrell (1960-2011). The irony of this being an alto saxophone feature would not be lost on Greg; he would have appreciated the humour in featuring an alto saxophone in his honour. This piece is an even eighth-note ballad, challenging players to play and shape through long phrases.
