Pinwheels and Spinning Tops captures musically the playfulness of these revolving toys and the spontaneity of childish delight as colours whirl through hypnotic optical illusions. Keeping a forward momentum, as the Pinwheels and Spinning Tops are set in whirling movement, the energy of the music propels us forward through continuous triple feel of circular motion. Melodies, countermelodies and accompaniment lines are spun together until the final bars where the momentum slows to a stop.
