One-Eyed, Three-Legged Dog Named Lucky, A (Band Gr. 3)

Some might say Lucky has had a rough life. He has been in more scuffles than the average house dog and he has had more than his fair share of visits to the vet, usually as a result of poor culinary decisions. There was also the unfortunate incident with a car that really has no right to be driving on his street. But, all things considered, in spite of the missing leg, Lucky is a happy dog. He’s not beautiful in a classical sense, although he does like to think of himself as handsome in a more rustic kind of way. Sure, there are a few patches where his fur doesn’t really grow anymore and he does only have one eye, but it is a very good eye! There’s nothing wrong with his hearing either, although one of his ears does have a piece out of it thanks to the dog two doors down. These days Lucky spends his time at home ensuring the magpies don’t land on his clothes line during the day and keeping the possums off the back fence of an evening.
