Mixtures

Mixtures uses three main categories of sound sources: metal, membrane, and wood. After each is heard separately, the sources are mixed (some by performer choice) in a partially aleatoric section which is followed by an imitative section that includes all three sources.

Percussion 4 (chocallo, triangle, 5 graded tom-toms, maraca, slapstick)
Percussion 5 (tam-tam, 5 graded brake drums, 4 timpani, 2 wood blocks, castanets)
