Majesty

I first heard this melody years ago only to discover that it was a beloved English hymn written by C.H.H. Parry. I heard it again in the film CHARIOTS OF FIRE. It has continued to haunt me with it’s graceful nobility. In this setting for wind orchestra, I hope to express my admiration and respect for this English icon.
