Liturgical Music

Liturgical Music is a work for large percussion ensemble in six movements. Biblical scripture or sacred readings inspire each movement. Despite the sacred implication, the work is intended for concert performance, although it could conceivably be performed within the service of a Christian church. Sing praises to the Lord, who dwells in Zion! (Psalm 9:11)

II. Psalm 47

III. Prayer (In Memoriam: Barry Larkin)

IV. Dance
