Feelin’ Just Right is dedicated to River Bluff High School and Lexington County School District One (Lexington, SC). The River Bluff High School Gator Steel Band was founded during the 2016-2017 school year and was the first ever steel band within the Lexington County One school district. This piece was written in gratitude to all of the hardworking students and staff throughout the school district who made the inaugural year of that steel drum program possible. 1. Percussive Notes New Literature Review

Students will appreciate the happy-go-lucky character of this fun tune, as well as learning material that is recycled to get mileage out of a performance. Likewise, directors will be pleased that the chart should be easy to read (simple rhythms and syncopations, standard strum patterns) and memorize, and the built-in solo section can be repeated throughout multiple players with minimal headaches. Give this piece a shot if you want everyone in the room to smile!
