The Debut Concert for Strings provides ensembles the opportunity to explore different musical styles. The collection features: unison rhythms, eight bar repeated melodies; two and three part harmony; melody and easy harmony parts (for both violin and viola); unison independent lower string parts; 4/4, 3/4 and 2/4 time signatures, piano introductions and piano accompaniments. Piano parts are optional, however they are strongly recommended to enhance the musicality of both your performance and rehearsal.
Recordings of the works and piano accompaniment are available and downloadable from www.brolgamusic.com
Depending on the skill level of your ensemble, introducing The Debut Concert for Strings is recommended during their first year, or at the start of their second year of learning. All works have been “rehearsal room tested” to ensure their pedagogical strength and student, teacher and audience appeal.
