Concertante (Mazas)

Originally written for two violins, this piece has been re-scored for solo violin and strings. The solo violin part is a showpiece, yet not extremely difficult to perform and may be done with multiple players. Great care was taken to maintain the clarity and elegance of the Classical style. The work provides an excellent introduction to the demands of this performance period.
