Chassidic Dance imitates the style of an Ashkenazi Chassidic instrumental piece, which would be played by wandering bands of musicians, who would play for many occasions. The origin of this music is both Jewish and Eastern European. Characteristic elements are highlighted here, such as the excitement created by increasing the speed and the use of the minor key.
