• Soft, heavy mallets are preferred, placing the softest mallet in the bass position.
• Pulse/accent all half notes that are repeated (particularly m. 16 and 18, and after measure 60).
• All rolls are hand-to-hand, with the exception of independent rolls on beat 1 of measures 29 and 32.
