Program Notes
This work is taken from the hymn, Faith of our Fathers. The title Blind Faith suggests that when life throws its various obstacles and hardships in one's path, it is oftentimes our faith that gives us the strength to persevere. Whether it is faith in a higher power or simply the belief that everything will turn out right in the end, most can agree that this is a very important aspect of life. The composers of this work can recall several times in their own lives when it was the only thing they had to hang on to. It is dedicated to their fathers, Henry Rodriguez and Javier J. Musella, both musicians and highly influential in the lives of their sons.
