Ad Lucem (Band Gr. 4.5)

Commissioned by Blackburn High School Friends of Music for the Symphonic Band performance at The Midwest Clinic, International Band and Orchestra Conference 2017, Chicago USA. Based on the opening phrase of the Blackburn High School Song – Ad Lucem Crescimus: Growing Toward the Light, the phrase also serving as the school’s motto, this work takes us on a brief, energetic journey toward the light.
