Valleywood Overture

Based on the hymn tune "My Faith Looks Up To Thee," Valleywood Overture begins with a soft introspective portion full of lush harmonies. The second section is faster with a tuneful melody that bounces along leading back into the hymn tune that builds to a climax then settles to a soft and delicate ending.

Based on the hymn tune "My Faith Looks Up To Thee," Valleywood Overture was commissioned by friends of the Valleywood Middle School (David Klein, director) in memory of Andrew Decker, a member of the band.
