Program Notes
Bella Muntean was a brave and positive person. No matter her situation, she was always smiling and supporting others with her attitude. When the Riverside High School Band in Greer, South Carolina was given the news that she had passed away from cancer, the first thing that everyone wanted was a way to memorialize her positive spirit. Because of her love for band and playing the flute, they knew the perfect way would be to commission a concert band piece in her honor. The members and staff of the Riverside High School Band hope that Unwavering Heart spreads Bella's message of love to all who play this music.
