Undercurrent

Undercurrent was written for the marimba and piano acting in equal partnership in terms of melodic and technical material. Although the piece does not employ any particular programmatic techniques, it has been commented to the composer on several occasions that the melodic structure is reflective of waves and water, in an undercurrent of activity.
