Program Notes
Trio for a Trio of Trios was written by the composer to include two of his percussion colleagues, Dr. Megan Arns and Dr. Alexandros Fragiskatos. While not a “Trio” in a March style or Classical-Era ensemble piece, the piece has 3 relatively distinct sections with 2 interludes that feature soloistic writing and accompaniment passages for all performers.
