Program Notes
Trance, composed in 2015, is one of my first compositions. There is certain subtleness to the harmony as well as the voice leading throughout some of the passages. Because of this, it is important to keep in mind that although the piece expresses the full dynamic range of the instrument, it should be performed with a lightness and quickness in mind.
The light quickness of this piece will put a smile on your face as you travel through the passages. Be ready to be challenged with the dynamic range of the piece. The composer is obviously very good at feeling the sound. Listening to the piece should be done in a dimly lit room with a good red wine. Unknown on Sep 6th 2016
