An impressive follow-up to Burritt’s extremely successful Shadow Chasers, Timeless centers more around the beautiful colors that the marimba can produce when combined with other mallet instruments and percussion instruments. Requires a well-rounded percussionist to perform the solo part – virtuosic marimba writing, blazingly fast rudimental tenor drum solo, multiple percussion solo requiring much dexterity.
