Sonata No. 1 for Cello

Gillingham's three-movement Sonata No. 1 for Cello and Piano features soaring, lyrical melodies and lush, chromatic chord progressions. Each movement is dedicated to a member of his family – the first, dedicated to his daughter, who is a cellist, the second to his wife and the third to his son, who is a percussionist, singer and composer.
