On a recent trip to the UK, Jack Stamp journeyed to the coastal town of Scarborough. The town sits on a high ridge which makes its way to the North Sea. Upon his return home, he began a setting of the famous English ballad for the Grimethorpe Colliery Band with many of their fantastic soloists in mind. The work features the percussion section as well as flugelhorn, solo horn, and solo euphonium.
