Ride on the Wings of Hope (4 Players on 2 Marimbas)

Written for the Japanese marimba quartet 4hearts, Ride on the Wings of Hope aims to bring you happiness, whether listening or performing. It was inspired by the composer’s hometown of Ogaki, Japan, which is an historic city of water with the beautiful Suimon River winding through it. Kato wrote the quartet so it may be performed on only marimbas.
