Percussive Carols

The purpose of Percussive Carols is two-fold: 1) to create more performance opportunities for percussionists during the holiday season, and 2) to infuse a contemporary percussive feel to traditional European Christmas carols that date back as far as the 13th century! This collection contains various styles, all of which are intended to be performed with the accompaniment CD. Use this book for holiday gigs, recitals, or something fun to help your students stay motivated to practice over the winter break. Have fun with Percussive Carols and make a joyful noise!

¥ All solos are intended for a 4.3-octave marimba, but several may be played on bells, xylophone, or vibraphone. (indicated below and at the beginning of each solo)

¥ All solos can be played with either 2 or 4 mallets, depending on your technique. Just follow the simple instructions.
