    Overture to a New Horizon is dedicated to Dr. Lisa Ecksein and to the members of the Northern Virginia Community College Alexandria band for their constant love and support over the years. The title itself, “Overture to a New Horizon” is a symbol of what is to come of Matt's compositional journey and a celebration of the NOVA Alexandria Band for being a huge part in the musical journey.
