Program Notes
Noble Redwoods is an arrangement of "Aria," the second movement of "Campane," my work for low brass quintet. This version reminds me of time spent in the grandeur of the redwood forest. The trees are so big that they close out light and sound. You find yourself in a very quiet place amongst huge living, breathing trees and your music fills the void.
