Neil Flannigan looked at this piece and said, "Oh, that looks easy." He was wrong. He is always wrong.
I had been wanting to write a duet with this sort of deconstructed drumset setup for a while, using a lot of cool colors and giving it a cool name. Napenthé is a word I heard when I was watching The Mandalorian. I thought it sounded cool, so I wrote it down and it landed at the top of the page here. This *not so easy* piece is super fun to play -- just let that muscle memory take over! Also, it's cool.
