Program Notes
In times of old, Drensby was protected by seven of the land's finest knights. So skilled were these knights that they were all recruited by the Baron from the neighboring kingdom of Shebston, granting them land and new positions.
All but one, that is.
This last remaining knight received the same generous offer. In fact, he was the first to be asked. However, so great was this knight's loyalty to Drensby that he and he alone remained steadfast to protect the kingdom. While most expected Drensby to fall once its protection was do drastically reduced, it actually prospered with nefarious activity halting completely. Ne'er-do-wells from all around determined that if a single man could do the job of seven, he is not one with which to trifle. While his name may be forgotten, his legend remains: the Knight of Drensby.
