Program Notes
As Easter is about rising, Christmas is about light and life descending unto the Earth. The first descending light is in the person of Christ, the light of the world, to one day ascend to God the Father, the essence of all light. Another is the Star, descending to Earth to show us the coming of the Son of God. Joy to the World is the perfect Christmas Carol for a new anthem on Christmas Day.
