Composer Spotlight: Sarah Santa Cruz

SARAH SANTA CRUZ: is a software engineer working remotely from Round Rock, Texas. Previously she was the percussion director at Westwood High School in Austin, Texas for 8 years. In her spare time, she teaches part time at Cedar Ridge High School in Round Rock, arranges front ensemble music for marching bands throughout Texas, and composes music.

Sarah has a Bachelor of Music Degree from the University of North Texas, where she performed in the Green Brigade drumline, and many different percussion ensembles, including the Gamelan, Afro-Cuban, South Indian, and traditional percussion ensembles.
