Composer Spotlight: Luke Vogt

LUKE VOGT is a percussionist and educator originally from Phoenix, Arizona, currently residing in Fort Worth, Texas. Luke holds a bachelor’s degree in Music Education from Arizona State University and a master’s degree in Percussion Performance from Texas Christian University. Luke currently works as the percussion specialist for V.R. Eaton High School in Fort Worth, Texas. Since aging out of competitive marching, Luke has served as an educator for multiple DCI and WGI ensembles and is currently on staff at Monarch Independent Percussion and Genesis Drum and Bugle Corps. As a composer and arranger, Luke maintains an active schedule designing for scholastic and independent marching ensembles throughout the country as well as composing original works for concert percussion.
