Since the earliest days of film, music has been a key element in creating moods and setting the scene. As a result, certain types of music now evoke images and scenes by themselves. And so it is with Chase At Midnight. Fast paced music punctuated with percussive hits suggests a chase scene, and what could be a better time to create suspense and drama than to have the chase in the middle of the night? Of course, you need a respite, a brief moment to catch your breath and hope that you have shaken off your pursuer, but then the chase is on again...
