Each solo features a downloadable play-along accompaniment. Whether routing the accompaniment audio through a PA system or stage speakers, the performer generally should aim for a flat audio response, especially avoiding a boost in the bass register. Check the speaker(s) or mixer console to ensure that no low pass filter, additive bass EQ, or compression is being applied to the audio. If possible, use a stereo speaker setup, as many of the tracks use panning and other spacial effects. Prior to performance, I highly recommend doing a sound check, having someone stand far back in the venue to hear how well the performer(s) and track(s) mesh together in volume and timing. When performing in boomier venues such as school gymnasiums or cafeterias, it may be helpful to boost the treble or upper middle frequencies by 3-6dB for clarity. For the sake of the performers and the ears of the listeners, please don't set the track volume too loud!
For each solo, you have the option to download either a compressed MP3 file (lesser sound quality) or an uncompressed WAV file (best sound quality).
