Arctic (Solo 4-Mallet Marimba) [DIGITAL]

Written for Michael Rosen, Arctic opens with a brief, slightly dissonant rolled section followed by many changes in mood (from desolation to hope to doubt to regret). The piece works as both a recital piece and an etude to work on the 123234 sticking pattern found in many marimba works.
