    Written in 1869, this famous waltz is Op. 333 in the composer's prolific output. Johann Strauss (the younger) lived in, and represented, one of the most brilliant periods of the Hapsburg monarchy under Emperor Joseph II. The wit, charm and elegance of life in upper class Vienna are all captured in Wine, Woman and Song.
